Assembly:Required

November 24, 2024

Choreographed by guest-artists from Orange Grove Dance and performed by the daring students of the Dance Theatre Group.

Orange Grove Dancer

Assembly Required is an immersive, site-specific dance event that takes the audience on a journey through the Goodyear Art Building. Echoes of the building’s past as a women's shoe factory mingle with the buzz of a thriving studio art facility.

Choreographers Matt Reeves and Cette Krogol of Orange Grove Dance and Lecturer in Dance Erin Crawley-Woods weave dynamic movement through the architecture of the space as it pulsates with a new original musical score by composer Dylan Glatthorn. Designed by Professor Kent Barrett and Juli Bounds and performed by the daring students of Dance Theatre Group, Assembly:Required is a one-of-a-kind collaboration between the Department of Theatre & Dance and the Department of Art & Art History.
