The Pocky Day (빼빼로 데이) is an unofficial Korean holiday that is celebrated by today's youth.
There are many interesting official and unofficial holidays in Korea that I think my residents would find fascinating. This is will fulfill the educational component of the program, as I will be educating my residents on Korean culture and unknown Korean holidays through custom-made posters and pamphlets. The intended outcome is to have my residents learn at least one new fact about Korea, whether it be a new holiday, or some random trivia I will prepare as well. The program will be held in Baird McClintock's 3rd floor common room.
