Join French Club in Althouse 106 for our biweekly mystery movie night! This is a great way to learn about the diversity of the Francophone world, as we show films from a wide range of French-speaking countries.
This week, we will be watching the Lebanese film Capernaum which follows Zain, "a gutsy streetwise child as he flees his negligent parents, survives through his wits on the streets, takes care of Ethiopian refugee Rahil and her baby son, Yonas, being jailed for a crime, and finally, seeks justice in a courtroom."
All films have English subtitles. No prior French knowledge is necessary. Snacks will be served!
