Join us for the award presentation of the Stellfox Visiting Scholar Award.
Poet Laureate Ada Limon serves as the 2023 Stellfox Scholar.
The Harold and Ethel L. Stellfox Visiting Writers and Scholars Program presents Ada Limón, 24th Poet Laurate of the United States, who visits Dickinson this spring to serve a Stellfox residency.
Limón will be presented with this year's Stellfox Award and, at 7 p.m., will deliver a reading of her recent book, followed by a Q&A session. All are then invited to join us for a book signing at 8 p.m. in the Allison Community Room.
Limón is the author of six books of poetry, including The Carrying, which won the National Book Critics Circle Award for Poetry, and Bright Dead Things, which was nominated for the National Book Award, the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award. Limón is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, a grant from the New York Foundation for the Arts and the Chicago Literary Award for Poetry. She is also the host of the critically acclaimed poetry podcast The Slowdown.
