The Dickinson College Choir joins forces with faculty and alumni performers to present a chamber music setting of Arthur Bliss’s Morning Heroes and Vaughan Williams’s cantata Dona Nobis Pacem. Featuring the poetry of Wilfred Owen and Walt Whitman, both works examine the lived experience of war and call for justice and a restoration of humanism in light of its violent impacts on humanity. This performance is offered as part of the J. Sherwood McGinnis Symposium on War, Peace and Justice, sponsored by Dickinson College.
