Quintessential Bologna: the Ultimate Italian Foodie Destination Known as la Grassa (“the Fat”) because of its rich culinary tradition, Bologna is considered by many the Italian capital of food! This webinar will give a general overview of Italian cuisine and the importance of gastronomy in Italian culture, with a focus on Bologna’s region of Emilia-Romagna. Participants will also take a virtual tour of the food scene of Bologna. Join us for a glimpse at some world-famous dishes—tortellini, tagliatelle and lasagne, oh my!—in the convivial atmosphere of this city's traditional osterie. Registration deadline: February 15.
