Art and Our Senses: Exploring Sound, Taste and Touch in the Art of Kara Walker
In this Trout UnMute Bethany Petrunak and Kaila Burke-Ozuna will lead participants in a sensory exploration of the artwork of contemporary artist Kara Walker. Join us for a sensory adventure followed by informal musings on how we experience art through more than just our eyes.
About Trout UN-Mute: Trout UN-Mute is a new student-led event series that gives you behind the scenes access to conversations, research, and creative inspirations taking place at The Trout Gallery! UN-Mute/d events offer an informal space for exploring the personal and experiential. Throughout our virtual semester, we’ll be hosting themed 15-30 minute art chats, activities, and mini-escapes from lecture-style online meetings. From contemporary artists to spooky seasonal collection works, each event is designed by students for students. We’re excited to talk with you—UN-Muted!
