Olivia Zoratto ’18 will discuss her experience as a junior talent agent at Innovative Artists.

Olivia Zoratto ’18 will discuss her experience as a junior talent agent at Innovative Artists, one of the top 10 talent agencies in the industry where she works next to the Head of the Unscripted Television Department. She pursued a self-developed film studies major at Dickinson. Her talk will focus on how her academic path helped her develop a critical understanding of the world of film and to merge the creative aspects with the business side of the film and entertainment industry. She will discuss her job’s structure and duties and share the excitement of working with artists and skilled professionals. She’ll address how the pandemic has created changes within the industry, discuss strategies she has been using to respond to those changes and how she continues to create work and opportunities for talent. This talk will be presented live in one of Professor Nicoletta Marini-Maio’s Film & Media Studies classes, so it will not be available to view online at a different time. Please register by Wednesday, Sept. 23. The Zoom access link will be sent to registrants the morning of the presentation.
