Free Event, $25 donation encouraged

This virtual event was created by former Dickinson roommates, Olivia Termini ’19 and Taylor Bednar ’19. They wanted to find a way to contribute to the COVID-19 relief efforts, while also deepening a sense of connectivity within the Dickinson community during this challenging time. As former athletes, exercise was one way they found positivity and they hoped it could do the same for the Dickinsonians everywhere. Each participant will Go the Distance with Dickinson on Thursday June 11; whether it be a mile in the neighborhood or 26.2 miles through the city…or any distance in between! Once you have registered, you will receive a virtual runner’s/walker’s bib (PDF) to print at home as well as fun (optional) challenges from Olivia and Taylor leading up the run! We encourage you to share how you are training and of course, photos from your virtual run using the hashtag #DickinsonGoesTheDistance. Registration is free and open to the entire Dickinson community, but a $25 donation to the Emergency Response Fund, the Wellness Initiative and/or McAndrews Fund for Athletics, is encouraged! Please register by Wednesday, June 10.
