For Alex Osberg ’09 (international business & management), a favorite office hashtag—#LoveWhereYouWork—is more than a way to enhance a tweet; it’s an ethos. And he recently welcomed more than a dozen Dickinson students to Twitter’s New York City office, putting on full display that he clearly loves what he does for a living.
Osberg focuses on brand strategy as a senior account executive, and he cultivates relationships with leadership in such companies as Pepsi, Oreo and Hershey to help them strategize how best to use the Twitter platform. And whether he's working in his team or with CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, he's right at home.
“Being at a liberal-arts college really allowed me to be a chameleon and blend into any environment,” he says, noting that his position now allows him to fulfill an important role in the lives of current students: that of mentor. “I want to make sure that that is there for every student who goes through Dickinson.”
