Dickinson College is proud to have a Pennsylvania Sate Certified Workplace Safety Committee. This committee, comprised of representatives from nearly all campus departments, meets ona monthly basis to discuss safety-related items. All members of the committee are required to complete annual training. Typical meeting discussion topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Campus building safety audit findings
- Reported safety concerns
- Employee-Related Incident Reports
- Any new business or other safety-related items
If you would like to submit a safety suggestion, five safety suggestion boxes have been placed across campus for your convenience. There are two available for public reporting: one in the Holland Union Building (HUB) by the Britton Plaza vestibule, the other located within Human Resource Services by the front desk. Three additional boxes are available for college staff to utilize within Dining Services and Facilities Management. Digital safety suggestion forms are also available online and may be submitted anonymously.
