Greg Moyer ’06 Named Vice President for Enrollment Management

Longtime enrollment leader and Dickinson alumnus assumes VP role
After more than 20 years of helping shape Dickinson’s enrollment strategy and recruit generations of students, Greg Moyer ’06 has been named the college’s vice president for enrollment management. A Dickinson graduate who began his career at the college as an admissions counselor immediately after graduation, Moyer assumed the role July 1 following the retirement of Seth Allen.
Since joining the admissions staff in 2006 after earning his bachelor's degree in history, Moyer has advanced through a series of leadership positions, taking on increasing responsibility for admissions recruitment, enrollment strategy and financial aid. Most recently, he served as associate vice president for enrollment management and director of admissions recruitment. He also served as associate vice president for enrollment and interim co-dean of admissions and financial aid, helping lead the division during a period of leadership transition.
“It is immensely humbling, as a first-generation college student, to take on the role of chief enrollment officer for such a storied and venerable institution,” Moyer said. “It is simultaneously empowering, knowing that it’s my Dickinson education that’s prepared me to lead in these challenging times.”
President John E. Jones III '77, P'11, praised Moyer’s deep commitment to Dickinson and his record of leadership.
“Greg is, of course, well known to this community and a fierce advocate on behalf of Dickinson. His passion for Dickinson is obvious, as is his commitment to the world-class liberal-arts education we provide,” Jones said. “Having traveled with him often during the past five years, attending countless admissions events, I can tell you he is an inspiring speaker and a persuasive advocate for Dickinson. I am very excited to see him succeed in this new role.”
As vice president for enrollment management, Moyer will provide strategic oversight for the offices of admissions, financial aid and retention. He will work closely with colleagues across the institution to attract, enroll and support a talented and diverse student population.
Moyer is a respected voice on enrollment and higher education issues, regularly speaking at conferences and professional gatherings across the United States and internationally.
A dedicated advocate for Dickinson and liberal-arts education, Moyer has built a career focused on helping students discover opportunities for academic growth, leadership and lifelong success. In his new role, he will continue guiding the college’s enrollment efforts while advancing strategic priorities that support student access, success and institutional strength.
“I’ve never required convincing about the power of a liberal-arts education, and for over two decades, I’ve had the privilege of seeing it change the lives of young people every day,” Moyer said. “I look forward to building on Dickinson’s great tradition of enrolling and graduating leaders who go on to change the world, and I’m excited to collaborate with my colleagues across campus to ensure that Dickinson remains a bulwark and devoted to its own brand of the liberal arts, rooted in a tradition that demands more from the world around it, and committed to producing graduates who live lives of meaning and purpose.”
