It’s a big week for Dickinson athletics, with three fall teams rolling into the Centennial Conference postseason picture. Women’s soccer and field hockey both punched their tickets to the semifinals with home wins on Tuesday, while men’s soccer will host a semifinal Friday after clinching the league’s top seed last weekend.
The third-seeded women’s soccer team wasted no time in their first-round matchup, rolling to a 5-0 victory over sixth-seeded Washington College at Miller Memorial Field.
Five different Red Devils found the back of the net, and Dickinson’s two goalkeepers combined for a five-save shutout as Dickinson improved to 13-4-3.
The Red Devils will now head to Baltimore to face second-seeded Johns Hopkins in a Friday night semifinal at 6 p.m. at Homewood Field.

At Biddle Field, third-seeded field hockey earned its own spot in the semifinals with a gritty 2-1 win over Ursinus.
With the victory, Dickinson (17-2) advances to face second-seeded Franklin & Marshall on Thursday night at 7 p.m. in Lancaster.

The 16th-ranked men’s soccer team wrapped up an unbeaten regular season (11-0-7, 5-0-4 CC) and secured the No. 1 seed with a 1-0 win at Muhlenberg last Friday.
The Red Devils will host a Centennial Conference semifinal on Friday, Nov. 7, at Miller Memorial Field. The opponent and game time will be announced once quarterfinal play concludes.
