Dickinson’s Campaign for Scholarships is making an impact.

Thanks to the philanthropic support of the wider Dickinson community, the college continues to make impressive progress toward its goal of providing a scholarship for every Dickinson student who needs one. As of Oct. 1, more than 4,400 donors have joined to help Dickinson uphold its commitment to meeting the full demonstrated need of every admitted student.

THERE’S NO GREATER GIFT THAN GIVING SOMEONE BACK THE ABILITY TO DREAM. It’s really hard to imagine what my life would have been like [without a Dickinson scholarship]. Since graduating from Dickinson, I’ve tried to lead the best existence that I can with the gifts that I’ve been given and to contribute to creating an environment in the Americas that enables future generations to maintain this ability to dream that Yale [Asbell ’78, P’24,] and friends have given us.” —PABLO THALER ’07, the first recipient of Dickinson’s Global Campus Scholarship, established through a gift by Asbell. He is now a political analyst with the Organization of American States.

“Dickinson has provided me with wonderful opportunities to grow as a student, a thinker, an engaged citizen and an eager professional in the field of computer science. Scholarship support makes all of this possible for me, and i am doing my best as a student and young professional to honor your philanthropy.” —CHRISTIAN GONZALEZ ’24, recipient of the Vincent Sheehy Annual Scholarship

“I studied at Oxford’s Mansfield College [through the Dickinson at Oxford Program], and never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that such an opportunity would be available to me. I am grateful every day. My classes were invigorating and informative; I found the work challenging and entirely rewarding. I feel like I’m living the life I’ve always dreamed of, and I am so grateful to you for helping to make it possible for me.” —EVELYN R. MACE ’24, recipient of the John J. Curley Scholarship

"i am incredibly excited to continue my education at Dickinson, which would not be possible without your generous scholarship support. I cannot thank you enough for helping me to discover so much at this amazing school and to lead a successful career that is built on the foundation of a Dickinson degree.” —RILEY ROBINSON '25, recipient of the Class of 1967 Scholarship
