Scholarship Story: Joseph Majkut ’25

“Dickinson has been very generous to me, and I am beyond grateful.” —Joseph Majkut ’25

Majkut is a psychology major with a history minor who serves the Carlisle community as a volunteer firefighter. Last year, this Dean’s List student and Alpha Lambda Delta honors society member found time to work as a Liberty Cap tour guide, play on the club volleyball team and complete an internship in emergency management with Cumberland County’s Department of Public Safety. Majkut also worked as a teaching assistant for the psychology department. This year, he’ll serve as secretary of the Psi Chi honor society.
