Scholarship Story: Lillian Cusa '25

“Scholarships lighten the financial burden of attending college and make it possible for me to focus on learning and building important relationships with peers and faculty.” —Lillian Cusa ’25

Thanks to scholarship support, Cusa is a double major in biology and environmental science with plans to work as a researcher and educator in biological oceanography. She is a 400 hurdler on the Red Devils indoor and outdoor track & field teams, a member of the Asian American and Asian Collective and The Hive beekeeping collective and a student assistant in the environmental-studies department. In fall 2023 she will attend the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Mass.
