The professors and staff at Dickinson were incredibly helpful in my application process and were a big part in my acceptances to some of the top nursing programs in the world. I am lucky to have had the help and guidance from Associate Professor Michael Roberts, Debi Swarner, associate dean and pre-health professions advisor, and Associate Professor of Biology Tiffany Frey.

During my time at Dickinson College, I have received a comprehensive liberal arts education that has strengthened my critical thinking skills and broadened my horizons through diverse classes across disciplines. In addition to my coursework, my work at the Office of Residence Life has helped me develop strong interpersonal skills by requiring me to interact with a wide range of individuals and handle various situations. I am confident that these skills will be valuable assets in all aspects of my life after graduation, and I look forward to using them to tackle whatever challenges lie ahead.

How has Dickinson prepared you for life after graduation?
Life at Dickinson has taught me the importance of connections both on campus as well as in the community. At a small liberal arts school, from academics to athletics to extracurriculars the connections made every step of the way have made a profound remodeling of my outlook on life. The supportive staff and my classmates have taught me that challenges are there to be overcome and I cannot do it alone. It is this necessity that provided me to grow intellectually and as a person. This is one attribution that cannot be quantified but will continue with me through the rest of my life.
