This February Dickinson is launching All Devils Rise, a monthlong athletics-focused campaign aimed at highlighting, celebrating and elevating our Red Devil teams and community. And a portion of this endeavor will focus on highlighting the great impact made possible by the gifts to the McAndrews Fund for Athletics.
You don’t have to look too far on campus to see all that’s been accomplished with donations given to Dickinson athletics from generous alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends of the college.
Over the last several years, gifts to the McAndrews Fund for Athletics have helped build the Durden Athletic Training Center and Miller Memorial Soccer Field and have also helped resurface the football/lacrosse field as well as the hardwood floor in the Kline Center.
More recently, locker rooms in the Kline Center and in the Dickinson Park facility underwent large-scale renovations, so our softball, baseball, basketball, volleyball and soccer teams have new, revitalized spaces to call home.
Now, with All Devils Rise, Dickinson seeks support for training-room and rehab enhancements, leadership-development opportunities and equipment and uniform upgrades across the board. For specific teams, it’ll cover equipment, healthy and nutritious meals on the road and specialized training needs.
“As a former student-athlete at Dickinson, I’m particularly driven to show how the amazing gifts given to the McAndrews Fund elevate the experience for our student-athletes,” says Sunnie Ko ’11, director of the McAndrews Fund for Athletics. “And they do so both during their time at Dickinson and beyond.”
To support your Red Devils as a part of All Devils Rise, make your gift to McAndrews Fund this February.
