Future Past

Sculptor Steve Dolbin’s recent works will be on display at Dickinson’s Goodyear Gallery from Tuesday, Sept. 10, through Saturday, Sept. 28. The exhibition, Future Past, will open with a reception on Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 5:30-7 p.m. in the gallery. Dolbin will deliver an artist’s talk at 6 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

Dolbin’s sculptures explore the complicated intersections of creativity, memory, history, technology, spirituality and the environment. The works featured in this exhibition incorporate mortal, synthetic and natural materials to arrive at an almost archaeological reflection on the temporality of the human condition.
