Dickinson is planning for a full return of students in the fall. Visit the Campus Reopening Page for the latest info and to view the dashboard.
I will be a teaching assistant in the French school system for the Académie of Poitiers in Poitiers, France.
How has Dickinson prepared you for your future?
Dickinson has helped me make connections through study abroad, giving me the confidence to know that I can move to another country. Professors and alumni also have been hugely helpful throughout this process, giving me advice and support.
I interned at WGBH in summer 2017, working with the American Archive of Public Broadcasting.
What are you most anticipating about your future?
I am mostly excited about the opportunity to live in another country for a year. I love French and will have the chance to develop my language skills, which is something that is very important to me. I also will be able to branch out of my comfort zone and meet new people as well as connect with old friends from my semester abroad in Toulouse, France.
What are some of the defining moments of your Dickinson experience?
Running for the varsity cross country and track and field teams, working at the Waidner-Spahr Library, going abroad to Toulouse. Those three things have defined my Dickinson experience, and I would not be the same without any of them.
