Dickinson will host an opening reception for artist Sif Ankergård, the 2017-18 Sylvia J. Smith ’73 Artist-in-Residence, on Wednesday, April 4, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., with a talk by the artist at 6 p.m. in the Goodyear Gallery. An exhibition of Ankergård’s works will be displayed in the Goodyear Gallery from April 4 through 25. The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.

Ankergård works in mixed media and installation art. Her exhibition is the culmination of a monthlong residency with the Department of Art & Art History. The annual artist-in-residence program is made possible with generous support from the Sylvia J. Smith ’73 Fund.

The Goodyear Gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 2 to 5 p.m.
