I took science and film classes in Italian at the University of Bologna and made friends from those classes. It is such an amazing feeling when you're able to communicate with people in a completely different language and country. It was one of my most challenging experiences as a student, but also one of the most rewarding. Also, my time as a senior completing my senior research. I worked with an incredibly dedicated group of students and professors, and I loved every second of it. It is so thrilling to be in an environment of curiosity and discovery. I realized that the work you do can actually contribute to how people understand the world.

As I approached my senior year, I worried I hadn't learned enough as a biology and environmental science majors. There were so many great courses I hadn't taken. With Dickinson as my guide, I feel as though I have the tools to build my own future, and avoid following a well-beaten path. And thanks to The Handlebar, I'll always know how to fix a bike.
