What we call “the Studio” is actually a multi-purpose space with myriad uses: CNN News Conferences via Skype with students and faculty, jam sessions and music recording using top-end programs and equipment, video projects using the dolly or greenscreen, video conferencing, Xbox Kinect battles, and much more. The Studio is a partially soundproof and enclosed space for students to work on creative projects (especially music), show movies, shoot footage, and also a place for faculty and students to hold occasional video conferencing. Once in a while, we have Dickinson figures like professor P.J. Crowley or students Nasim Fekrat hold live interviews for news networks! But perhaps the most famous (among students) use of the Studio was the production of our very own Dickinson zombie thriller, Zombie King.
