Issues with another email program (ie. not Outlook nor Thunderbird, etc.) after the migration to Office 365

 

Mail server settings in your preferred program will have to be manually updated to point at Office 365.  The IMAP, SMTP and POP mail transport protocols have been disabled to thwart illegal account access which bypasses Multi-Factor Authentication.  If you use an email program which does not support the Exchange protocol you will need to access your Office 365 mail via the web at www.office.com.
