Kettly Mars: The Impact of Politics on Haitian Literature Today - Spring 2016
In Spring 2016, in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, Kettly Mars who was on tour for the launching of the translation of her novel: Salvage Seasonscame to Dickinson. During her visit on campus, Kettly Mars met with professors from the departments of History, Africana Studies, and Portuguese on Sunday, April 17. She also met with students for lunch on April 18, and presented “the Impact of Politics on Haitian Literature Today” the same day.
