Through a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you are able to set aside money, before it is taxed, in order to pay for eligible out-of-pocket costs for dependent and health care expenses.

Any funds remaining available from 2023-2024 HealthSmart Flexible Spending Accounts must be used within the grace period ending September 15, 2024. Employees with a HealthSmart FSA have 45 days at the end of the Plan Year to file claims for services provided during the Plan Year. Services must be rendered and paid for by September 15 and claims may be submitted through October 30.
