The Department of Philosophy encourages majors to study abroad, as experience with other cultures is an excellent way of putting one's own assumptions into questions. Many of our students spend their junior year abroad, and many spend a semester abroad—either in one of Dickinson’s own programs or a partner program.
While many choose to study in Norwich, England, other majors have studied at universities all over the world, such as in China, France and Australia.
