Dickinson alumni are always ready to be useful, to serve, and to serve a purpose. And for staying engaged, there’s no better way than being involved in the Alumni Council. Made up of Dickinson alumni that span generations and geographies, this group serves as advocates of the college. Members help to bring forth the programs and initiatives of Dickinson to fellow alumni while encouraging their participation, engagement and support.

Individually, members are expected to promote Dickinson in their personal and professional networks, encourage meaningful engagement among fellow graduates, support the college and partner with the Advancement staff on events and programs on campus and across the country.  Collectively, the group consists of several committees, including:

  • Career Committee
  • Development Committee
  • Leadership Committee
  • Lifelong Learning & Engagement Committee

Members are elected to serve three-year terms.

"The Alumni Council will assist the college in strengthening the connection between all alumni and between alumni and current students in order to create a strong sense of community and to raise the visibility of the college on a national and international level."
