Driving Safety

To operate a Dickinson vehicle (owned, leased, or rented), all faculty and staff must complete the following requirements:

1. Review the Vehicle Administration Policy
2. View Driving Safety Video
3. Receive a passing score on the Driving Safety Knowledge Check
4. Complete the Motor Vehicle Report form and Acknowledge Policies
5. Receive a "pass" confirmation from the Transportation/Safety Services Coordinator

Review the Vehicle Administration Policy before watching this video to complete the first part of your driver training.

Driving Safety Knowledge Check

Please complete this Microsoft Office Form as thoroughly as possible. Once submitted, the Safety Services Coordinator will use the information provided to process your Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

Please allow up to 72 hours for the Transportation/Safety Services Coordinator to respond with a pass/fail notification. You will not be permitted to drive a Dickinson-owned/leased vehicle until you have a passing grade. Questions should be directed to fleet@dickinson.edu

To be approved to drive large vans or minibuses, you must complete a road course with a public safety officer. Email haggertj@dickinson.edu to schedule an appointment.
