Join President Margee Ensign, for a private tour of TMC Innovation Institute's Johnson & Johnson Center for Device Innovation followed, by a reception at the TMCX Boardroom.
Texas Medical Center (TMC) Innovation Institute is shaping the future of health care by uniting promising innovators on a global scale with the best minds in academia, science and medicine. TMC Innovation provides pioneering health startups and early stage companies with shared workspace, a curriculum tailored to the needs of health care entrepreneurs, workshops and hands-on events along with the resources of over 200 advisors and the amenities to refine their solutions. TMC Innovation is a state-of-the-art, 100,000-square-foot facility that includes: TMCX (accelerator), TMCX+, Johnson & Johnson JLABS/Center for Device Innovation and the AT&T Foundry for Connected Health. No medical center offers as many opportunities to discover solutions that are shaping the future of health care as the Texas Medical Center. Carlos Amaro, Johnson & Johnson operations manager, will be our host for the Center for Device Innovation. Vyripharm Biopharmaceuticals (one of the first companies housed in TMCX+), along with Gretchen Glick-Mazziotti ’91 and Elias Jackson (University of Texas/Yale University, and president of research and development at Vyripharm Biopharmaceuticals) will be our hosts for the reception.
President Ensign is looking forward to meeting Dickinsonians during the tours and the evening reception, and bringing our community together in Texas.
