Violinist Irina Muresanu presents Four Strings Around the World: A Celebration of Cultures through the unifying voice of a single medium--the violin. In this presentation, the audience will experience music from four continents (Europe, Asia, South America, and North America); various styles of playing (classical, fiddle, Arabic, Asian, and tango); theatrical set-up with costumes and props; short videos with music and images to inform and immerse the listener in less familiar cultures; and two new works written specifically for this program.
This is an event not to miss! Four Strings Around the World will take place this Thursday, March 21 at 7pm in Rubendall Recital Hall, Weiss Center for the Arts. Admission is free and open to all.
