MUSE/IQUE Concert at The Huntington

August 25, 2018

Join fellow Dickinsonians for an outdoor concert at The Huntington!

Presented by MUSE/IQUE, Pasadena’s pioneering live music organization. The concert will be held on the picturesque lawns of The Huntington. Concessions will be available onsite for purchase. Homemade picnics are welcomed. Under the theme of “STATES/UNITED: Mapping Musical America,” MUSE/IQUE treats audiences to the ultimate musical road trip, drawing inspiration from The Huntington’s art and library collections to celebrate what it means to be American. The program showcases our country’s rich cultural heritage—whether it’s Duke Ellington’s New York state of mind, Jackie Wilson’s Detroit sound, the sparkling southern splash of James Brown, or the impossible cool of Frank Sinatra’s Vegas, the most memorable moments and places in our lives are always set to music. Parking is complimentary and included with admission. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Registrations and cancellations accepted through Monday, August 6.
