What can you do with a history major? Nine Dickinson alumni with history degrees discuss their successful career paths

Join the history faculty and History Majors Committee in welcoming back to campus nine alumni (with graduation years ranging from 1983 to 2016) who have used their history degrees to pursue a variety of interesting and successful careers, in both the non-profit and private sectors. Panelists include a middle school assistant principal, author of historical novels, attorney, business executive, university academic advisor, educational director of a historical society, Library of Congress archivist, analyst at a technology consulting firm, and an entrepreneur. Whether you are a history major looking to meet alumni and learn more about possible careers; have not yet declared a major and are curious about where a history degree might take you; or are just interested in learning more about the ways a liberal arts degree opens doors after graduation, this forum is for you. All are welcome.
