Recycle-a-Bike: All are invited to join us at The Handlebar on November 8th from 4-6 PM to dismantle a bike!
The Handlebar has an excess of old bikes that are not quite worth fixing, but they have plenty of parts for reuse.
Our goal is to take apart 5+ old bikes and help people learn some bike-part basics in the process. It’s easier to take apart something that is not your own! This event is open to anyone interested and requires no previous mechanic experience. We have the bikes and tools; all you need to bring is your most destructive and curious self! Come for a bit and take off a couple parts or pick a bike and disassemble the whole thing! We are excited to salvage what we can and learn together.
