Take a restorative pause from the demands of campus life and experience the soothing sounds of singing bowls and sacred instruments.
Open to Dickinson students, faculty, and staff
Sound healing is a meditative relaxation practice that uses sound, vibration, and intentional listening to encourage calm and present-moment awareness. This session offers an opportunity to slow down, release tension, and reconnect with yourself.
What are the benefits? Participants may experience reduced stress, a calmer mind, improved relaxation, and a greater sense of balance and well-being.
What to expect: Sara will guide you into a comfortable, restful state while playing singing bowls and other instruments, creating a soothing soundscape. No meditation experience is necessary—simply arrive with an open mind and allow yourself to relax. You are welcome to rest quietly, notice your breath, or simply listen.
What to bring: Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or blanket to lie on, along with a pillow or anything else that will help you feel cozy and comfortable.

Come as you are and give yourself permission to pause.
