Marc Mastrangelo, Professor of Classical Studies, and Mike D'Aprix '14, Archeologist and CEO of ArchNova, will host Dickinson alumni and friends for a private tour of the Parthenon sculptures (Elgin Marbles) and other ancient treasures at the British Museum. The sculptures' enduring beauty and impact on western art, as well as the controversy over their repatriation to the Acropolis Museum in Athens make these works as compelling today as they were when the master sculptor, Phidias, completed them under the direction of the Athenian Statesman, Pericles.  Space is limited. Please register by Wednesday, Oct. 21. Link to register here: https://engage.dickinson.edu/go/27AEBRITMUSEUM.
