Dickinson in Seattle: An Evening of Indigenous Story Telling

Dickinson alumni and families are invited to gather in Seattle for an evening of indigenous storytelling and community with Dr. Amanda Cheromiah, Clifton Guthrie, and Myranell Bergtold.

Learn about the lasting impact of the Carlisle Indian Industrial School on Native peoples, the work being done at Dickinson to advance truth-telling and public engagement to honor Indigenous living histories and the intention and purpose behind the new Jim Thorpe Center for the Futures of Native Peoples in Carlisle. A reception and opportunity to connect with the Dickinson community in Seattle will follow. Hosted by John Pohl '78, P'06, and Susan Wyckoff Pohl '80, P'06.
