RE-MINING & RE-MELTING is a place-based, sustainable ceramics collaborative student faculty research project that was supported by the Center for Sustainability and the Research and Development Committee at Dickinson College. During the summer of 2026, student researchers Kyrie Sanchez and Lauren Schill worked with Associate Professor Rachel Eng (Art & Art History) to repurpose waste mineral materials in Cumberland County, PA into glazes that are used on locally sourced and processed clay.

Opening Reception on Tuesday, September 15, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
