We hope you will join us as we celebrate this meaningful addition to our campus.
The college has proudly partnered with the Carlisle Rotary Club and the Sherwood McGinnis Jr. War, Peace and Justice Project on the installation of a Peace Pole, an international monument displaying the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in multiple languages, on campus.
We invite you to join us for the Peace Pole dedication ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m., behind East College (rain: Stern Great Room) prior to the Charter Day dinner.
The program will include remarks, a musical performance, and attendees may place a commemorative stone along the pathway as a symbol of our community’s commitment to global understanding and shared hope of a more peaceful future.
