Please join us for the next GEOS Lunch & Learn Seminar to hear Ben Eppinger (’20) present "New Frontiers in Seismic Imaging of the Critical Zone."

Ben has developed a seismic imaging technique called full waveform tomography which uses the full elastic wave equation to model the near subsurface environment. Through this work, Ben has produced the highest resolution seismic images of the near-subsurface ever seen - and has even applied it to some very cool places like the Sequoia groves of Yosemite.
