The Borough of Carlisle will host a series of community meetings in March to support the development of an Active Transportation Plan.
The meetings will provide opportunities for residents, community partners, and stakeholders to review data, discuss safety trends and help identify priorities for improving walking, bicycling, accessibility and overall transportation safety throughout the Borough.
The meetings are March 11, 18 and 25 at 6 pm. Dickinson will be hosting the second meeting in the series on March 18 at 6:00 PM in the Stern Great Room.
Overall, the Active Transportation Plan will identify opportunities to improve safety, connectivity, and accessibility across Carlisle’s transportation network while supporting Borough goals related to mobility, sustainability, and quality of life.
Community input is an important part of the planning process. Attendees will have opportunities to review data, share experiences, and help identify areas for potential improvement. Contact biking@dickinson.edu for more information.
