Dickinson in Raleigh Durham

March 22, 2026

Join us to hear about Dickinson professors' current work at the National Humanities Center, the only independent institute dedicated exclusively to advanced study in the humanities.

Cotten Seiler, professor of American studies, and Claire Siler, professor of English and Kalaris Chair in the History of Science, are representing liberal-arts colleges at the center during the current academic year--Cotten as a resident associate and Claire as a Fellow. They will share the origins of their books, some surprising research discoveries and how their Dickinson students engaged with and sharpened their ideas. More information here.
