The Dickinson College Mock Trial team is hosting an official regional tournament for the American Mock Trial Association.
This year will be our largest tournament yet, so we need to reserve more spaces than usual to accommodate the larger event size.
We would like to reserve the following classrooms in East College: 105, 108, 112, 303, 301, 314, 410, and 411
On Friday 2/27/26, Dickinson students will set up the classrooms for the event. On Saturday, visiting teams will arrive and compete in the classrooms until the early evening. At that point, Dickinson students will go through the spaces and clean them before the next rounds of competition on Sunday. On Sunday morning, visiting teams will return and compete in the classrooms again until the evening. Dickinson students will then thoroughly clean and reset the classrooms so they are ready for classes on Monday.
We have not needed to use East College for this event in the past, but the larger size of our tournament means that we will need additional spaces. If there are any concerns about this request, I would be happy to set up a meeting to discuss them and find a solution that all the involved parties can agree on. I will also personally photograph all classrooms on Friday evening before the spaces are set up, and then personally inspect all classrooms on Sunday night to make sure that they are in the proper condition for classes on Monday.
