The Dickinson College Mock Trial team is hosting an official regional tournament for the American Mock Trial Association.
During the tournament, we will need a large event space to hold opening and closing ceremonies.
On Friday 2/27/26 evening, representatives from the American Mock Trial Association will do a walk through with Dickinson students to make sure the space is ready for opening ceremonies in the morning. On Saturday morning, visiting teams will check in and attend opening ceremonies, before going to their competition rounds. After 10:00am, we will not be using ATS until the following afternoon.
On Sunday afternoon, Dickinson students will set up awards and presentation before closing ceremonies are held in the evening. After the ceremony, teams will be in ATS for roughly an hour as they take team photos, socialize with other teams, and address any potential tournament tabulation issues. Once the teams leave, Dickinson students will clean the space, make sure all AV equipment is powered down, and the space is left in good shape for other events. At the very latest, Dickinson students will be in the space until 10pm, but I anticipate that we will be out of the space closer to 8pm on Sunday.
