Whistlestop Bookshop will host a launch event for Intrepid Girls: The Complicated History of the Girl Scouts of the USA, Amy Farrell’s new book exploring the surprising and complex history of this iconic organization. Through rich archival research and personal reflection, Farrell reveals how the Girl Scouts have shaped the lives of millions of girls and women while navigating issues of feminism, race, class, and politics.

Books will be available for purchase at the event. All are welcome!
