A talk with Dr. Katarzyna Maniszewska - Polish scholar affiliated with Civitas University and the University of Bialystok, 2025 Fulbright-NATO Security Studies Award recipient.
An expert on terrorism, radicalization, and security, Dr. Maniszewska will share her insights on the challenges facing Europe today and their implications for transatlantic security. Her talk will address terrorism, including state-sponsored activities, hybrid warfare such as the weaponization of migration, and the ripple effects of Russian aggression in Ukraine that are increasingly visible worldwide.
Central Europe will be analyzed in the context of interconnected and globalized security threats, highlighting the need for an increased international cooperation.
