Join us as we honor and celebrate the life, light, and legacy of Legacy Watkins ’18, a beloved member of the Dickinson community whose spirit continues to shape and inspire our campus.
Legacy tragically passed away while studying abroad in Cameroon, but during her time at Dickinson, she left an indelible mark as a passionate, joyful, and deeply impactful student. Her energy and love for community radiated throughout every space she entered.
X House was established in her honor, a vibrant home and safe haven for Black and Brown students on campus. It stands today as a reflection of Legacy’s values, her commitment to inclusion, and her vision for unity and empowerment.
This event will be one of many ways we celebrate and preserve her story. Attendees will experience a walkthrough of her life and achievements, highlighting her contributions to Dickinson and the legacy she left behind.
As time passes, we gather not only to remember but to reignite her story, ensuring that every student who walks through X House understands the love and purpose it was built upon. Come share in the memories, the impact, and the ongoing journey of X House through the lens of Legacy’s life.
