This meeting will be work and prep workshop for the Public Speaking Contest coming up next week.
There will be a mix of things planned to help support contestants and opportunities to learn for everyone. We will be going over general information for the contest along with some tips, guidelines for the speech itself, Q&A, and a chunk of the meeting will be set aside for contestants to practice all or part of their speech for feedback. This is intended to be interactive, not a lecture!
This meeting is open for everyone, not just contestants. The meeting is set for 7:30-9 pm, but we may wrap up earlier depending on the number of contestants we have practicing.
Please RSVP so we can get a read on our numbers before the event (we'll have snacks!).
