Tenor Timothy Lupia and pianist Jennifer Blyth present a program of two new compositions alongside revered classics.

Timothy Lupia
Look forward to Schumann’s iconic “Dichterliebe” and Handel’s well-known aria from Messiah, “Comfort Ye/Every Valley,” foiled by two works by Jospeh Rubinstein: song cycle “Casting Off” and "... a clear view ..." The latter work uses text taken from the New York Slave Conspiracy of 1741, the year Handel’s Messiah was composed. For "... a clear view ...," Lupia and Blyth will be joined by a small ensemble of Dickinson music faculty members and students.
