Are you an international student interested in staying in the U.S. to work after graduation?
One of the benefits of your F-1 visa is eligibility to apply for Post-completion OPT (Optional Practical Training), 12 months of authorized work in your field of study (major).
This information session will provide an overview of the OPT application process, timelines to understand, and a personalized Q & A with members of the ISSS (International Student and Scholar Services) team. Early application is important if you are planning to work immediately following graduation. OPT applications take anywhere from 2-6 months to process.
Graduating Seniors (Spring 2025 and Fall 2025) planning to work in the U.S. after graduation should prioritize attending. All F-1 students are welcome!
